Umiam Lake, a mesmerizing man-made reservoir The scenic Umiam Lake is encircled by lush green East Khasi hills that form one of the best panoramic sights for nature-lovers in the country, Students and nature-lovers can admire the flora and fauna at Umiam Lake as they study the science behind the dam, children can spend some time in the park with their parents, visitors can take a long boat ride in the lake, and adventure lovers can enjoy boating and various water-sports.Nohkalikai Falls, It is India's tallest plunge waterfall that falls from an altitude of 1,115 ft. The pool of water formed from the falls is somewhat greenish in colour. Surrounded by lush green and misty clouds, the waterfall is mostly rainfed.The Mawsmai Caves are limestone caves There are stalactites and stalagmites in different shapes and sizes formed by years of natural abrasion and underground water action. Mawsmai Caves are a world of adventure. It offers opportunities for cave exploration and cave diving.and much more to explore.

Day 1 | Guwahati Airport / Rly Station â€“ Shillong (100 kms / 03 hrs.)

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called 'Scotland of the East". Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 2 | Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 2 hrs. One Way)

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, enroute visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 3 | Shillong Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Don Bosco Museum, Wardâ€™s Lake, Botanical Garden and Lady Hydari Park. Evening is free for personal activities. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4 | Shillong â€“ Guwahati Airport / Rly Station (100 kms / 03 hrs.)

After breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
